Abdominal Activation, Folds, Twist, and some party tricks ;)

It’s feeling cold so we start with some potent work to plug into the belly center. Things get nice and warm and we move into the dynamic repetition and breathe pacing of sun salutations. Standing poses are simple, start with long/slow/strengthening holds and then move into breath-based flow state pacing. We bring this warmth and opening with us into a series of arm balances, folds, twists, and twisting folds, including peak pose Parvritta Pachimottonasana. Class ends with soothing folds in Pachimottonasana, Upavista Konasana, and Buddha Konasana, an inverted twist that feels super good, and a long winters Savasana all tucked in with blanket and eye pillow.
