Hamstrings and Handstands

Open hamstrings are an integral part of handstands! They give you a buoyant bottom half, less effort kicking up, and as a result more stable shoulders and core. This practice starts with core, hamstring activating, and hamstring stretches. We move into a strong flow that opens and awakens the back of the body and repeats several times to generate heat. From there, we slow down and get into deeper twists and hip openers and side body opening. Practice finishes with Standing Splits at the wall and Handstands at the Wall. A fun and strong flow.
