Happy Scappy (Scapulae is the Plural of Scapula)

Class starts simple: Childs, cat/cow, DFD (downward facing dog, known as AMS for those who do Sanskrit), rhythmic Sun Salutations drawn by the pulse of the tidal ujjayi breath), Handstands. Then we move outside the box to face the long edge of the mat and work from Malasana into Eagle Side Plank, strengthening around the scapula from a different angle. We twist and flow and finish up with some powerful work on the wall to open the river of Psoas and merge into backbend bliss. Class finishes with one last Abs Blitz before we melt into a happy puddle in Savasana.
