Wide Open Spaces
The general arc of this class is from engaging the core to then deeply opening the front core body from knees to nipples. We start with a block party (AKA tons of core stability work!). We flow into a moon - salutation inspired flow that uses the long edge of the mat as the “front facing edge”. This offers wide open space to move into left and right and freedom to play with some unexpected transitions. Prone back strengthening series prepares the body for working in active backbends. We move into some pigeon backbends and quad release in bridge and the easiest wheel pose of your life! Finally, unwinding into pinwheel pose.
