Intro (1st portion)

Courage: from the Latin cor, meaning heart. Your unshakeable connection to the center of yourself, opening to the inner knowing of your heart, aligning with the powerful being you are. Your yoga begins at the pelvis and the low belly. When we disconnect from these areas, we lose the foundation of our physical and energetic vitality. If you have not yet discovered this inner aliveness of accessing your deep core, I want to help you reclaim your center and your power, and discover your solid foundation for a depth of presence and possibility your practice and your life already holds. Move inward. Radiate outward. Together we will find your strength to open.

2nd portion

The pelvis and lower belly are the centers of gravity in your body and the foundation of your physical and energetic vitality. So many of us have become both physically and energetically disconnected from these areas of the body. Digestive issues, anxiety, inertia, poor posture, ego imbalances, weak personal boundaries, pelvic joint pain, and lower back pain can manifest when we are disconnected from the hips and low belly. When we connect to our deep core, the impossible becomes possible. We progress more safely, efficiently, and joyfully.  Energetically speaking we unleash our own creativity to think outside the box, sensuality to wake up and embody pleasure and joy in this lifetime, magnetism to put our ideas into action, and fire to transform what no longer serves us.

3rd portion

In all my offerings, I coach students to reclaim their innate strength, vitality, and energy flow through their pelvis and low belly. This is the common thread in everything I share: from the precise way I sequence and cue a Flow class, to my passion for supporting pregnant people to drop out of the headspace of what-ifs to drop in deep and trust their body and breathe down to their babies, to my joy for helping postpartum people reclaim their center physically and energetically, to my love of Handstands as a meditation on the true core, to my years of coaching Yoga for Athletes in agility, mobility, restoration, and injury prevention, to my work with scoliosis and mediating center in an asymmetrical body.

Final portion

The benefits of this approach are immediate. Even in a single class, slowing down, breathing down to the hips and belly, and restoring optimal mobility in the body immediately connects you to your power and makes you feel more alive. For the committed practitioner, taking the time to build a strong foundation is the magic key to make the impossible possible, the possible easy, and the easy elegant.
