Shake it Off and Open your Heart

Class starts with some shaking practice I am incorporating into The Simplify Retreat.  We shook for a bit over ten minutes - working from hands/feet/arm/legs into the trunk and even sounding a bit to open stuck energy in the throat as we did Thymus Tap on the breastbone. After all this shaking there is a palpable shift in mind and body.

We moved into a back body strengthening flow with peak poses including:  Camel, Kapinjalasana, Dancer Pose, Big Fish Pose, and Wheel Pose and wound down with a sweet supported half shoulderstand, sidebend, and twist.
