On the brink of the holiday hustle, I hope you can slow down, relax, receive, and join me and an amazing crew of massage therapists for Blissful Body: Restorative Yoga with Hot Rocks and Massage in the beautiful Cedarcroft Center with its vaulted ceilings, spacious hardwood floors, steam heat, and stained glass windows.
Take time to slow down, relax, and receive in a pampering afternoon of yoga. Quiet your nervous system, soothe your muscles, and relax your mind in this pampering restorative yoga workshop. Perfect for the type-A power yoga practitioner. Also perfect for your grandma. This workshop is inclusive of all levels of practitioners. (Pregnancy friendly, too!)
We will start with a little bit of chanting and joint mobilization.
For the bulk of the workshop, restorative postures are held for extended periods of time while a crew of massage therapists occasionally adorn you with hot river rocks, therapeutic mini massages and aromatherapy.
We will finish with Yoga Nidra (“yogic sleep” – a traditional guided meditation during long savasana) to leave you feeling deeply renewed. Peel away the layers of fear, tension, and anxiety and unlock your own creative ocean of bliss.

Restorative yoga offers space and stillness to downshift our nervous systems.
Hot River Rocks are grounding and help melt deep stored physical tensing and emotional guarding and gripping we carry in our bodies.
Massage invites insight, vitality, and regenerative creativity into our Bodymind that is possible through the dynamic deep listening and communication of therapeutic touch.
Rest and digest. The hard edges and shallow breaths that our go-go-go lifestyle reinforce begin to unwind and destress. The collective energy in the room vibrates as we orient to what is most regenerative and supportive. We emerge feeling at once expansive and grounded.
Walk in. Float out.
It is important that I know attendance far enough in advance that I can hire the correct ratio of massage therapists for the number of folks attending.
